Chrisanne started playing Piano at the age of 4. She is a 3rd generation pianist, and has been heavily inspired and influenced by her mother Vian Pereira, who is known to be veteran amongst most teachers in the industry. Chrisanne holds a Grade 8 Music Theory certification from Trinity College London and ABRSM and a Grade 8 Solo Piano certification from Trinity College London. Her passion for music led her to become an Academic consultant for Trinity College, London. She initially taught music at the Theme Institute of Music, Mumbai and later setup her own private academy of students and continues to train and inspire children and adults of all ages to take serious interest in music. She has been teaching and working with some of the finest names in the Industry.
During her teens, Chrisanne started getting into playing at college venues all over Mumbai; she even went onto winning a few awards for her graceful work with the instrument. Her quest to explore music grew in her youth as she attempted and became successful at playing multiple genres of music. She was trained in Classical music but today she has explored her versatility across Pop, Rock, Country, Retro, Bollywood and many more. Her quest to being a full time musician led her to play corporate shows with world class musicians in some of the finest hotels, malls and pub venues in the industry. She has even performed live on Air on Radio City 91.1 FM channel, Radio One 94.3 FM &
Radio Mirchi Edge.
Chrisanne has also been acknowledged for her contribution to the Bollywood blockbuster song book- Super Hits-Volume 1 and has recently released her first single ‘This December’ in December 2016. Her moto as an artist is to spread the love and joy of music in the lives of people. She believes in inspiring people to believe more in this form of art and spend quality time in their daily lives with music. One of the major attractions for her students is the annual music recital which she organizes to encourage young talent and give beginners and intermediate level students a platform to perform.
